The Firm

A leading law firm is seeking an Employment Solicitor or Legal Executive to join their Cambridge office. Known for delivering effective legal advice and representation, the firm prides itself on its collaborative approach and commitment to achieving favorable outcomes for clients.


The Role

  • Client Advisory: Advise employer clients on employment-related matters, including Employment Tribunal claims, through written, in-person, and telephone consultations.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside colleagues, including those in HR consultancy, to deliver comprehensive solutions and achieve positive results for clients.
  • Document Preparation: Prepare, draft, and negotiate documents on various employment law issues, including Settlement Agreements, HR policies, and Employment Contracts.
  • Geographic Coverage: Provide services to clients across the firm’s broad geographic footprint.
  • Presentation: Prepare and present materials at seminars and assist in the preparation and execution of tender bids, if desired.
  • Business Development: Take an active role in business development and networking activities to expand the firm’s client base.


Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required

  • Qualifications: Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with up to three years of post-qualification experience.
  • Experience: Broad range of employment-based experience in a similar environment.
  • Skills: Strong advisory skills, excellent document preparation abilities, and effective communication in both written and verbal forms.
  • Professionalism: Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality legal advice and representation.
