The Role

  • Client Engagement: Meet potential new clients, thoroughly understand their needs, and confidently secure their instruction. Demonstrate a blend of sales acumen and information gathering to convert potential clients into actual clients.
  • Legal Expertise: Provide expert solutions to employment law problems for individuals, identifying potential issues and achieving the best legal outcomes. Communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds using plain English.
  • Business Solutions: Address employment law issues for businesses, from start-ups to larger SMEs. Offer day-to-day HR and employment law advice, ensuring clients stay compliant with the latest regulations.
  • Business Development: Collaborate with the team to grow the firm’s client base. Engage in marketing activities such as writing articles, attending networking events, and speaking engagements to attract new clients and promote the firm.


About You

  • Experience: Solicitor with 5+ years PQE and a strong knowledge of employment law.
  • Communication: Excellent communicator with great client care skills.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Passionate about business development, networking, and winning new clients.
  • Work Ethic: Hardworking, eager to develop a legal career, and progress quickly.
  • Adaptability: Willing to learn, try new things, and help out colleagues.
  • Professionalism: Trustworthy, professional, and a team player.
