POSITION: Insolvency Lawyer
Location: Norwich, Norfolk
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2 days in office, 3 home)

The role demands a strong team ethic and a positive, can-do attitude. Demonstrating teamwork involves adhering to firm policies and procedures, utilising the firm's case management system, and maintaining an approachable and conciliatory demeanor. Being supportive of peers and all staff members is crucial. Responsibilities also include implementing systems and procedures determined by the Board and Executive Management Committee, providing mentoring as needed, and ensuring that personal training remains current.
Efforts should be directed towards promoting, protecting, developing, and extending the firm's interests. Effective communication, both oral and written, is essential for maintaining excellent working relationships with colleagues, clients, and other parties. Delivering a professional, efficient, and friendly service to clients is paramount, while also ensuring compliance with ISO standards and producing all documentation to the highest standard. Compliance with management directives, as well as firm policies and procedures outlined on the intranet, is expected.
Key duties include;
- Gain insight into client expectations and requirements.
- Maintain strict confidentiality.
- Provide clients with accurate cost advice.
- Adhere to all office procedure requirements.
- Engage in self-appraisal and development planning.
- Actively participate in supervision and performance evaluations.
- Accurately record time spent on tasks.
- Organise and maintain client files.
- Handle billing, expense payments, and file closures.
- Follow established administrative systems and procedures.
- Initiate matters on the office's case management system.
- Conduct Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and compliance checks.
- Assist with general office administrative tasks as needed.
- Provide administrative support for client onboarding and offboarding.
- Prepare client bills.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Handle filing and the organization of client files.
- Assist the office manager as required.
